Yoga for Trauma Symptoms

8 classes over 8 weeks teaching you strategies to reduce, befriend and soften your trauma symptoms. This will be a gentle class with a maximum of 10 students. Every effort will be made to create a sense of safety, confidentiality and community. It is recommended that you are in psychotherapy while attending these classes.
For people experiencing trauma symptoms, the thought of going to a group class can feel intimidating. If it is helpful to you, I can meet you for 20 minutes at the studio at a prearranged time to orient you to the space and answer any questions you may have. Please contact me by phone, text or email to set up a time to meet.
For this class, it is best for you to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes that allow you to move freely. While we do have some mats available, if you have a mat that you prefer, please feel free to bring it. You can also bring a light blanket for padding and if you would like to use it to stay warm in resting poses.
There are public washrooms down the hall from the studio where you can change. Alternately, you can plan to wear your yoga clothes to the class if you prefer. There is a waiting room where you can store your coats, boots/shoes and other items you bring with you. Please bring valuables with you into the yoga room and turn OFF cell phones.
Cost: $140 + HST – Pre-registration is required for this class. You can pay through:

- Pay by visa. When you register, I will send you an invoice that will allow you to pay by visa.
- Drop payment off at the studio before the first class. Please prearrange the drop off time with me so that I can be available to meet you.
